Rob Meelker has worked at Marree + Dijxhoorn since 1997 and became a partner in 2003. He started work as an independent legal advisor to SMEs immediately after graduating in 1982. At the time, he dealt with every issue that came in. He also gained experience of litigation. Rob then spent eight years working at two insurance companies. This gave him experience of dealing with claims submitted by clients and third parties. Dealing with claims quickly led to his becoming specialised in personal injury. In 1992, Rob Meelker joined the legal profession. Among the courses he successfully completed was the Grotius Academie personal injury programme.
Rob heads the Insurance and Liability Team and acts mostly on behalf of insurance companies. To an increasing degree, businesses are seeking answers to questions relating to damages, liability, causal links, and insurance. Rob Meelker is able to provide sound and effective advice on these matters, and to litigate if necessary.
